Welcome to Austin's most affordable and fun
Standup Paddle Board & Kayak rental dock.
Get ready for your best standup paddle board & kayak experience ever. Situated on a tranquil and wide expanse of Lady Bird Lake near the Boardwalk’s East end, with gorgeous views, a nearby island and cove, and low water traffic, there's no better place to SUP or Kayak in Austin.
SUP & Kayak rentals are available 9am - 7pm every day – no reservations necessary.
We have a large fleet of SUPs and Kayaks so there's rarely a wait - which means you spend your time on the water and not on the dock. Parking is free in our parking lot or on the street.
SUP'ing and Kayaking are fun and easy way for the whole family to enjoy Lady Bird Lake, and our kayaks are great for fishing. We also host a lot of large groups - bachelorette and bachelor parties, corporate team building, birthday parties, reunions and the like.
EpicSUP is one of two official rental headquarters for SUP ATX. SUPATX (SUPATX.com) is the largest manufacturer of the finest SUP boards in the world.

You'll Have A Lot More Fun If You Follow These Best Practices
Customer safety is always our first priority. Ask anyone on our team for help if you have questions.
Our crew is here to help you have your best day on the water - whether it's your first paddle or you're an old pro.
Each person must have a life jacket on board.
Children under the age of 13 years must wear a life jacket at all times.
We provide life jackets.
Stay To The Right
Never paddle in the middle of the lake.
Stay to the right side of lake, just like automobile traffic.
Wait for faster moving traffic to pass before crossing the lake.
In unsafe weather conditions, we will close the dock or halt rentals until it is safe again.
No watercraft may launch during lightning or thunder, or if fog is too dense to clearly see the opposite shore.
If caught in a storm seek shelter immediately.
Paddle into the wind heading out, and with the wind to return.
If you're having difficulty, paddle closer to the shore as trees help block the wind. If on a SUP, lie on stomach or knees and paddle to safety.
AVOID ROWING SHELLS
Kayaks, Canoes and SUPs must yield to rowers. Always be aware of rowing shells and coaching launches. Move toward the shore when being passed. Stay clear.
City of Austin ordinance prohibits swimming in Lady Bird Lake.
