Founded in Austin, Texas in 2011, EpicSUP is built on an unwavering commitment to premium, quality and sustainably made products for the Stand-up Paddleboarding, Surfing and general water sports lifestyles.  To our knowledge, EpicSUP is the only company 100% committed to providing our customers with sustainably made products. 

EpicSUP™ is a member of the1% for the Planet (http://www.onepercentfortheplanet.org/en/) program and has pledged 1% of all revenue to environmental causes.  EpicSUP™ values giving back to the local community and supports numerous local not-for-profits commitment to the environment and making life better for everyone. 

About our boards

Every EpicSUP™ premium, eco-friendly Stand-up Padldeboards, or SUP, is hand-shaped in the U.S. by master craftsmen who employ only the most environmentally responsible components available -- recycled foam blanks, recycled plastics, bio-resins.  Our boards are the anti-thesis to the mass produced*, machine-manufactured**, one-season*** 'pop-out' boards that are flooding the market and creating irreparable environment damage and harm to human health.  

* Mass produced = machine made in a place far away by employees who know little to nothing about SUP and Surfing

** Machine-manufactured = Human hands never touch these boards to ensure quality, balance and craftsmanship.  The result is a product with unpredictable performance.

*** One-season = These mass produced boards typically last one season of use and then break, become too damaged to repair, and - as a result - end up in the land-fill.  Our boards are designed to be used for a decade or more...or to be sold to the next lucky rider or paddler to enjoy for hours, days, months and years.

EpicSUP™ is an ASI certified training school and leverages global best practices for safety, fun and performance.  ASI, the Academy of Surfing Instructors, is the world's leading education and accreditation organization in the surf and stand-up paddle industry.
